There are some trees down on the trails and we are clearing them as we get to them with the groomers. I have ridden some of our trails and packed down the swamps to allow them to freeze so we can get groomers across. Trails are passible at least the ones we have been on so far just use caution until we get all of the trees off. Snow base is decent for this time of year and there will still be some rough spots until we get more snow.

He have a ride this weekend to the Maple Ridge Resort on Lake Michagamme for there Classic snowmobile show. If you want to tag along everyone is welcome. If you are riding on trail 8 and want to take a rest stop on by. It is only a few miles from the trail.

Trails in our area are not good right now. We got a lot of rain the week of Christmas that turned everything to Ice. There is only 1 inch of snow for the next week forecasted for our area so it does not look good for the next week or so. I hope to update once we get more snow and can get the groomers out taking care of the trail.

We have started grooming trails. Trail 82 from Republic to Ishpeming was groomed on 12/6. Trail 18 from Republic to Amasa was groomed on 12/6. Trail 8 has been groomed from Ishpeming to Marquette and ishpeming to the Diorite swamp. It will take us a few days to get the swamp froze so we can take the groomer across. Trail 5 has been groomed from Republic to Champion. More updates to follow.
